Office Administration Apprentice

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an office administration apprentice to gain valuable work experience in a busy but friendly and supportive office environment, working with a team who have trained a number of office administration apprentices through the years.

You will be supported through the apprenticeship to give you the best chance to gain your qualifications at the end, as have our past four apprentices, while gaining experience within a busy office.

Job role includes:

• Assist with administration duties
• Plenty of telephone contact with clients, both new and existing
• Organising jobs using an online diary
• Creating and adjusting Excel Spreadsheets
• Using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Data input on Xero accounting and invoicing system
• Calling customers for card payments
• Sending out reminders for servicing
• Assisting the Sales Manager and Office Administrator with the day-to-day running of the office

Personal qualities:

• Great communication skills and educated to GCSE A-C level in Maths and English
• Can work as part of a small team with the ability to work with your own initiative
• Self-motivated and a keen learner
• Be able to deal with clients directly face-to-face and via the telephone or email, with perfect grammar and spelling
• Attention to detail and a high level of organisational skills are a must
• A confident and empathetic manner

Education requirements: A-C English and Mathematics useful but not essential

Salary: £7.00 to £9.00 per hour
