The benefits of our commercial fireplace installation service include:
From initial guidance picking the right style to complement your business, all the way to the final installation, we ensure a reliable, easy service that adheres strictly to national health and safety standards.
From homeowners to interior designers and architects, everyone wants and needs something different from a fireplace.
First, you need to establish what your primary goals are for the new fireplace. What sort of styles would you or your clients enjoy? What materials and colours would complement your existing decor? How much space do you have to give to a fireplace? Do you prefer cosy, traditional pieces or a more sleek contemporary look?
You may also want to consider which fuel source would suit you best: electric, gas, solid fuel or bioethanol. For example, solid fuel is a great choice for those who prefer the real look and feel of a crackling open fire that heats all year round without the need for an energy supply, while bioethanol is preferable for more eco-conscious people wanting to see a real flame, and especially where a chimney or gas isn’t available.
Once you have a rough idea of your preferences, you can then chat to our team who will talk through any requirements in more detail. Alternatively, you can pay a visit to our extensive showroom in Wimbledon to see hundreds of stunning options for yourself.

Gas fire installations can range in their installation time. A simple insert gas fire normally takes 2 – 3 hours to install. However, a hole-in-the-wall gas fire, which may require us to build or alter the opening for it to sit in, could take up to a couple of days depending on the complexity of the work.
Work, such as gas runs may also need to be taken into consideration which can add to installation time depending on the extent of the work. For a clearer idea, just ask the sales team working on your project once they have gone through the survey details.
Solid and multi fuel work is also very dependent on the complexity of the project. If we’re lining the chimney for a solid fuel fire this could take 4 – 8 hours, whereas if we are doing an installation such as a stove or a cassette fire, this could range from 1 – 2 days depending on the extent of the work.
The other factor to consider is if you are looking for us to just fit the appliance, or if you are requiring a whole set-up which includes surround, front and back hearths, chimney lining, chamber cladding, etc.
Generally an electric fire can be installed very quickly, though timings will vary depending on the style of fireplace you select, and any customisations you require. Most electric fireplaces will work perfectly plugged into a normal household outlet. If any electrical customisation is required for your new electric fire, we are happy to look into this for you.
Installation costs are always subject to a survey which is used to assess what the extent of the work will be and what specialists and materials are needed on site. It’s important to note that we employ all of our own highly skilled installers and do not sub-contract, guaranteeing you a professional service every time.
Installing a fireplace is a potentially dangerous procedure if attempted by an amateur, and so the process always requires certified engineers. Here at Enviro-Flame, we have HETAS, Gas Safe and National Accredited fireplace installers and chimney sweep engineers.
